Noele Phillips
Ballet, Modern, Jazz & African Teacher
Noele Phillips is a native of East Harlem, New York and began her dance training at the age of 12 years
old.  Noele has performed in many productions in elementary school and throughout Harbor Junior High
School for the Performing Arts.  Her love for dance continued at Seward Park High School, LaGuardia
Community College and Lehman College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree.  

Noele’s dance performance career includes the Repertory Dance Company of East Harlem (1994-1996),
Young Dancemakers Company (Summer 1997 and 1998), Gestures Dance Ensemble (1997-1998).  

Noele’s theater performance career began at the age of 8 years old and includes the Cornerstone
Theater Company (Too Noble Brothers), Henry Street Settlement Urban Youth Theater (Don't See My
Bones and Think I'm Dead, Co-Writer and Performer), En Garde Arts (The Secret History of the Lower
East Side) and Urban Theatre Initiative (A Fire Inside - Nikki Giovanni, From the Mississippi Delta-
Producer).  

Presently, Noele is a Principal Dancer with Kraven Seneca Dance Company.  In 2007, she was selected
as one of the 10th Anniversary Artists for The dancenow NYC festival.  Noele embraces and celebrates
various types of dance including Hip-Hop, Jazz, West African and Modern.
